Somewhere far far along I've Lost my Soul...
3 months ago, I was back at home, still enjoying my 6 months of holidays. Now, I’m working my ass off trying to build buildings! You have no idea how bz this architecture thing is until you experience it yourself. Some people say architecture is an easy course coz there are no exams… well, to those who says that, you can go behind me, squat down, and kiss my ass. Same thing to people who says ICPU is easy. ICPU people you can understand how I feel don’t you? I know I know.
Omg… I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve updated my blog…. Soooooooo bzzzzz…… I hope I dun kill myself. =.=’ Last week I’ve managed to get down to Red Square along with a couple of friends. That was like the 1st time ever I’ve been clubbing in Aussie, and 1st time in 6 months! Gosh! It was not bad. But it was too packed though. Owh… and I found out that my “cousin” was around there as well. Just din really get to talk to her. Not really sure if we are cousins oso?? O.o’ hmmmmm…. Owh well…
Life has been okayyyy so far here in Adelaide. Met great people and not so great people. But I guess it’s the same everywhere else. Got really close to some of the residence here and it was really a positive thing. Helped me several times already. Im not really sure how to conclude my stay here yet… but overall so far… I can just say that it’s manageable.
I miss home…

And dreamt about you… and I thought it was true…
It’s been awhile… but I still think about you… just hope that things would have been different… I miss you.
It’s not the end silly :)
A whole new world...
We all seen movies where a young child would be placed in a whole new surrounding. And normally the main theme of the story would be the struggle of the young child trying to fit in. Well that’s what I’m going through right now. Although I can’t consider myself a young child, but still. Well, I got to Adelaide last week and it was a whole new experience for me. I love the place, I love the people (some of them), I love the food and definitely I love their hygienic values. Like the stories, I struggle to find a place to fit in. I found a couple of good friends. However I would love to join the local people. Like get to know them better and, you know, just be friends. Somehow, there is like a barrier in every single one of them. It was hard at first but I managed to get a few great local friends from Aussie. Basketball has been a lot of help in getting friends. See, to get noticed by the local people, I must make a good first impression. And once I did that people notice more. The acknowledge me. Before that, I was like invisible to them. Don’t get me wrong though. Its not that I hate them or anything. Its just that I find it a little bit challenging to get to know the locals. People here are awesomely friendly and very very nice. Believe me, they’ll help you no matter what it is. And that I like. :)

I'm leaving on a jet plane, dunno when i'll be back again...
Tomorrow will be my last day in Malaysia. And I'll be on my way to Australia. So take care ya everyone? I'll miss you all. Best of luck and see you in the near future.
Until we meet again...
Until we meet again...
All my bags are packed I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin' it's early morn
The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could die
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
Cause I'm leavin' on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go
There's so many times I've let you down
So many times I've played around
I tell you now, they don't mean a thing
Every place I go, I'll think of you
Every song I sing, I'll sing for you
When I come back, I'll bring your wedding ring
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
Cause I'm leavin' on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go
Now the time has come to leave you
One more time let me kiss you
Close your eyes I'll be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave alone
About the times, I won't have to say
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go

Dear Boys...
Brothers till the end. Entering St. John's was one of the best choices I've made. I don't fancy the educational system there but I do treasure the people I've met there. I can't say 5 years studying there gave me the best education, I cant say that the teachers there are the best nor can i say that I've accomplished everything I wanted to do there. However, I can say this, the friends I have made there are indeed true friends. I've not always been the best friend to many, and i do regret it. I know that there were things that I've done that i still do feel bad about. And i know apologizing wouldn't change a thing. After two years out of St. John's i did hope that they would forgive me and put everything behind.
Today, I got my answer. They were all there for my farewell party at Jun Lin's house. I didn't thought that they were goin to show up at all. To be able to see their faces and shake their hands again made me feel that i'm part of them and all the history, just disappear. Were they putting up a show? I dun think so. I think the old boys of class 2007 grew to realize that the one thing that keeps us together is not St. John's... its brotherhood. And thats what they are to me.
In 6 more days I'll be leaving to Australia. Can't say I'm not nervous, yet its not like this is the first time I'll be facing a new scenery.
Till then, Fide Et Labore.

2 decades in the making...
Tired tired tired!!! I'm so tiredddd!!!! And my eyes are killing me! So friggin itchy!
Okay so i went out again yesterday and today (much cool). Yesterday I took another step CLOSER to adulthood, turning 20. Grrrr... hate growing up... =.= Aniways, i went to town yesterday to do some banking, shopping and certification (is there such word! @.@) for my Adelaide trip. Instead of goin out for party, i was duin all this crap... Owh well, never liked celebrating my "one-step-closer-to-adulthood" aniways. So, i spent the whole of yesterday running around the whole town (i gotta learn not to wear 3 layers... not in Malaysia at least). As mentioned, i was running around the whole town, and it was bloody hot! Got back at around evening and i was dead tired. I think i went to bed at 12 something. That was the earliest i've slept in months!
Today was much better as it has nothing to do with running around (and i wore 1 layer today and caught a cold =.='). Went out with cat, fewwet, kathrine and lydia in Sunway. Surprisingly i wasn't late! Hah! turns out i was the second one there! Cat wanted to shop for some stuff for her NZ trip so we all went window shopping! (i swear im not gay). Well half way duin so, we bumped into Jocelyn (she bumped into us), my Hokkien friend! hahaha... aniways, around 4 something they all left (blarrrdy hell all came late and go back so early...) and i went to Taylor's McD in SS15. Gawd, I miss that place. Saw Jin on the way so we talked for a while until 7 i think. Then i went back...
Aniways, I think i'll be heading to my bed now and probably stay in koma for a few days. After 6 days of continueous days out, I need to take a break. Aniways, thanks to everybody who had wished me on my birthday. I realy appreciate it. Thanks a million! :)
Well i guess from now on i'll be a "ty" instead of a "teen" (as much as i hate it). Thanks again for the wishes guys! Till next time...
Chi-ou-zzzz

Abang, 2 teh ais and 1 air kosong...
Owhhhhhkay! Lets see... Three days of continues outings. And there are still more to come!
Saturday:
Basketball Day! Last Saturday was probably the most fun basketball game I've played in St. John's in years. Mainly because all the big names of our school came. Its something like the All-Star Game in the NBA but made up of St. John's ex-students. Kamil and Afiq was came back from... their Uni... in... yeah... and their performance was nothing but awesome. The two Australian Brothers came back to dominate the court... as usual... Justin came back from Australia as well looking better than ever. Sadly the other seniors couldn't make it. But still, all in all, a good day of basketball. School was packed that day with students rehersal for Monday's event, St. John's 106th Birthday. So there were students everywhere. Felt like i was back in my Form 5 days.
Sunday:
The venue, KLCC. Time, after lunch time. Several of my friends went out to KLCC to celebrate Theng's birthday. As usual, Malysian timing, some of us were late (me... and some others). Well, no biggie, we still had our late lunch at Cilies. Had to wait for 20 minutes before getting a place and wait for another hour just to get served. Food was good but its HUGE! Not only i had to unbutton my jeans/geans, i had to un-zip it (yes, i know... un-zip...). We lepak-ed there for an hour atleast den head South to Megan Avenue for some pool (the stick and balls pool btw). The deal was "loser pay". But it was just 18 bucks aniway, so we all chipped in. It was fun, making noise in the cafe like we own it. And btw i think the manager con-ed us... =.=' (im not goin there again).
Then it was back home and out again to celebrate my grandmother's birthday! In PJ! omg.... so far... so i just slept in the car (^-^)v , as usual. Got home and i was beat... wanted to blog but got too lazy :P
Monday:
School's Birthday. Yes, today marks the 106th birthday of St. John's Institution. Also known as the retirement of our dera principal, Mr. Peter Yii Seng Chiu. Awwww... we'll all miss you YSC (short form for "you suck c*cks" ^^). Owh well, i guess your time as head is up. Time to pass on your tourch to another man. All hail to the new principal, Mr. Leong! (eh? another Cina? Haiyoooo... This time from Jinjang ar! Lagi die la wei). Well he seems lika a good man. Owh and his first action as the head was not to allow ani ex-Johannians to wear jeans/geans and shorts to the ceremony... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHA, as if we care! This guy makes me laugh. We all wore jeans/geans to the celebration and he din do shyte about it... What a lame-o. Nice try dude, nice try :)
So the ceremony was over and me and a couple of my friends went for lunch. We went serching for... Wantan mee! apparently it was the cheapest thing we can afford... (=.=) and its HUGE! i swear oni a whale can finish it! After that, more pool! wohooooooo. Well i played snooker, for the 1st time... no idea what i was duin at all. And then i got myself all the way to Time Square for some Starbucks. Too bad David wasnt there... could have gotten myself a free drink... Owh well. But i did bumped into Samantha.
Got back home and now blogging.
Phew... okayyy. So that was the past three days. My body is telling me to go to sleep, but somehow i cant. Must be the bloody Wantan mee...

The flying blue dragonfly...
"A dragonfly flew into my room today and landed on my shoulder... I knew he was looking down on me..."
When i was really young, my grandmother told me that in every ending has a new beginning. I didn't understand what she was talking then. I didn't get the message that she wanted to tell me. Not until the day when my grandfather passed away. I couldn't remember what happened that day, whether i was crying or not. But i remembered that i saw a dragonfly, and it flew right across the room and landed on my shoulder. As i wanted to swipe it off me, my grandmother stopped me. She said "that'll hurt your grandpa." Again i din get what she was trying to say. So i just sat down and waited until it flew off. Ever since then, my family believed that the dragonfly was somewhat, my grandfather. And ever since then, my family will be visited by a little blue dragonfly every year around this month.
I've forgotten about this story for a long time now. But today, as i was sitting down in my room, packing for things that i need to bring to Australia, this little blue dragonfly flew into my room, and landed on my shoulder. Freaked the s**t outta me at first. But then later it flew on to my bed and then to my family portrait just outside my room. And it just stayed there, on my shoulder.
Thinking back now to what my grandmother told me, i dun really believe in all those life after death thing. But it is moments like this that makes the most unreasonable doubts seem real. Do i believe that a dragonfly is somewhat my grandfather? I don't know myself. But i know what i do believe, i believe that he will be looking down on me and my family while I'm in Australia.
